Hi, I'm Attorney John Fuhrman. My Practice almost exclusively consists of representing
people who have been charged with the offense of DUI. My practice is located in the Puyallup and East Pierce county area.
If you're like most of my client's, you've probably never been arrested or charged with a crime before. You're a hard working,
law abiding citizen who has been caught up in this recent and politically driven emphasis on arresting those who have
often done little more than to be stopped by the police and have alcohol on their breath. Then, they are subjected to a "Simon
Say's" like array of field sobriety tests which the majority of us could not pass completely sober. Then they are carted
off to blow into a breath machine which has been routinely fraught with problems over the years. A Breath Testing machine
that is so unreliable that an ever growing number of judges will not allow their results into evidence. If this is you, you
may be facing criminal prosecution and loss of your driving privileges. Don't become a victim of this system which, in my
opinion, often traps those who are not impaired but who may have only had a beer or glass of wine or two with family or coworkers.
The problem is, it's not illegal merely to drink responsibly and drive but, only to be intoxicated/impaired and drive.
